SanitovaCheck ("we," "our," or "the app") is developed by Sanitova Environmental Health Services Ltd. SanitovaCheck is available to users worldwide. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have, regardless of where you are located.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: your email address and basic profile details when you create an account.
• Facility scan data: photos, checklist responses, and location/facility details you submit for compliance scanning.
• Usage data: app interactions, scan history, and device information (device type, OS version) to help us improve the app.
• Subscription and payment status: we receive confirmation of your subscription status from Google Play and RevenueCat. We do not collect or store your card details — these are handled entirely by Google Play.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

• Generate AI-assisted compliance risk reports and scores.
• Maintain a history of your facility scans for your own reference.
• Provide downloadable PDF compliance reports (Pro subscribers).
• Improve the accuracy and usefulness of our scanning and reporting tools.
• Communicate with you about your account or subscription.

3. Data Storage and Retention

Your data is stored securely on our backend infrastructure. Scan history and reports are retained for as long as your account remains active, or until you request deletion. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 6).

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share limited information with:

• RevenueCat and Google Play, to process subscriptions and verify entitlement status.
• Service providers who help us operate the app (e.g., cloud hosting), under confidentiality obligations.
• Legal authorities, only if required by law.

4a. International Data Transfers

Because SanitovaCheck is used worldwide, your information may be processed and stored on servers located in countries other than your own, including but not limited to Singapore and Nigeria. By using the app, you consent to this transfer and processing. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is handled securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy wherever it is processed.

4b. Your Rights Under Regional Privacy Laws

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding your personal data — for example, under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). These may include the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and the right to object to certain processing. • You can edit or delete your account information within the app.
• You can request full deletion of your data by contacting us (see Section 7).
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through Google Play.
